Moesha Smith is a Licensed Master Social Worker, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern State University and a Master’s Degree from Louisiana State University. As someone who struggled with anxiety and depression, she has direct experience working with providers to improve everyday habits and behaviors associated with mental health.
Moesha’s experience includes working with individuals ages 11 and up (male and female) battling with issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, etc. During her time working with this population, she used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as motivational interviewing as a guide to coping mechanisms for her clients.
Moesha’s goal is to utilize her own experience with mental health to provide a judge free and comfortable environment where each of her clients can feel heard and understood.
In her free time, she enjoys a variety of hobbies such as making videos for Youtube, recording her Podcast, watching television, traveling, and writing.
