Michelle earned a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University in 2020. She is an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), AMSR (Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk). She counsels as a process in which her clients and her having come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals. She has worked with clients experiencing major life transitions, anxiety, depression, and other life issues. She utilizes EMDR and other evidence based practices. Michelle approaches her counseling from an existential perspective with a concentration in Logo-therapy with the patterns of choice awareness in order to help her clients find meaning and freedom.
I aim to create a safe therapeutic environment where you the client feel no judgment and complete positive regard. - Anonymous
