ABOUT Melissa N. Kahlbaugh

Melissa holds a Master of Counseling degree from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. With a background in Hospice Care, Melissa understands the struggles of coping with complex health issues, caregiving, and their effects on mental health. This is what ignited her passion for helping those coping with grief, anxiety, depression, and balancing the challenges of each stage of life. Melissa has worked with adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), positive self-talk, and Solution-Focused strategies to assist clients with coping skills and goal-setting. Melissa’s mission is to help others recognize their power to change their circumstances. In her free time, Melissa loves hiking, running, and family time.
