ABOUT Maura Thomas

Maura received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Kaplan University. She has ten years of experience working closely with families, adolescents and children. Maura is skilled in family dynamics, patterns of coping, abuse histories and immediate needs. She also has experience in creating family and individual treatment plans that involve assuring child safety, improving parenting skills, improving problem solving skills and enhancing social supports. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children, going on walks, and the pool or beach! Maura has a passion for helping others improve their emotional, psychological and social well-being and she is truly invested in giving individuals strategies for changing the way they think, feel and act in order to better their mental health long-term.
