Marlene Padron (she/her) comes to Cerebral as a 1st generation Mexican-American immigrant raised in Michigan. Also a 1st generation college student that pursued a bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan in Sociology and Psychology, going on to successfully complete a Masters in Social Work program at UPenn. She has worked as a social justice advocate across four states, in various non-profits, mental health agencies and healthcare. Marlene believes that the collective experience of storytelling and sharing vulnerably provides a profound container for healing and connection.
