Manasa Dotson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who enjoys working with individuals and families. She received a BA in Psychology and a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. As a person of South Asian descent and a first generation American, she can relate to the immigrant experience as well as the experience of being the child of immigrants. She has a unique experience of cultural acceptance, diversity, interracial relationships and family transition. Manasa believes that people should feel comfortable, confident, and have a sense of belonging in their own communities. She believes that the client is the expert on themselves and therefore approaches counseling as a collaboration between herself and the client.
