Maike holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology/Art Therapy from Holy Family University. She brings first-hand knowledge of the impact of unresolved mental health issues exacerbated by the pandemic, and is passionate about promoting psychological wellness. Maike's work experience includes providing family-based counseling, outpatient counseling, and case management services. Her work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), implementing elements of mindfulness, intentional re-framing, and visualization. Maike strives to create a compassionate therapeutic space in which to explore current stressors as well as options for healing and growth. In her free time, Maike enjoys yoga, painting with watercolors, collecting houseplants, and playing with her cats.
