ABOUT Lindsey Halstead

Lindsey has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia. As a mentor and tutor through school, her interest and passion for others grew. She pursued work with developmentally disabled adults, from there began investing her time in gaining knowledge and understanding in the mental health field. Lindsey’s experience consists of working with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. She has a person centered approach and is informed about CBT, TF-CBT, solution focused, and DBT. Lindsey is invested in understanding people from all walks of life and is actively engaged in advocating for mental health care. In her free time Lindsey enjoys hiking, exploring new cities, sewing, and spending time with her family and friends.
