Laura Guadron holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Washington. She has experience working in a hospital setting with patients in crisis, with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. She believes in a holistic approach to mental health and that laughter is cathartic. Guided meditation, positive self-talk, and re-framing are some coping methods she uses to engage clients; and she utilizes approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients achieve their mental health goals. Laura strives to create a safe, empathetic, and authentic environment where she can act as a guide to helping people improve their mental health and wellness. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, cooking, or just hanging out.
