Shonnette Edwards has a Master’s degree in Psychology with a background in Social Work/Case Management and Behavioral Therapy. She was born and raised in sunny California, San Gabriel Valley to be exact, and is the oldest of five children. Shonnette has provided both supportive counseling, emotional support and assessment services for children, adults and families. Both Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused approaches are what she enjoys utilizing to tailor each client’s unique needs.
In her spare time, she enjoys Jazz music, traveling, bowling, painting and visiting amusement parks for fun and entertainment as well as spending time with family and friends. Shonnette believes change can occur when individuals are open to learn new things, set achievable goals and given the necessary support needed to draw on their strengths and reach their full potential. With her passion for lending a helping hand, Shonnette creates an environment of healthy rapport, emotional support, compassion and the willingness to help individuals and families in overcoming obstacles to thrive and move forward.
