Kristen Wenzel holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from The Michigan School of Psychology
She has always had a life-long passion for Psychology and being a part of the healing process for others. Moving around the country to work with various populations has empowered her vision as a mental health professional to shift out of mental illness and into mental health.
Kristen has experience working in the areas of incarcerated adults in segregation, crisis stabilization for adults; as well as in the role of a school based therapist for middle school aged children while still providing outpatient ‘teletherapy’ for adults and children. She utilizes many different techniques, including skills from; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered, Trauma Informed, and Play Therapy with clients to aid in their healing process.
She aims to be a guide for others to become their best selves one step at a time.
In her free time Kristen loves to explore the world around her whether that be going out into nature for a hike or bike, down to the local farmer’s market for a fresh find or getting creative with crafting old items into something new!
