Kate Golias holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Kate has over a decade of experience working in the area of mental health, specifically with, depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, negative self-perceptions and other diagnoses that impact individuals on a daily basis. Kate’s experience includes working with clients one on one, in group settings and in research settings. She has used goal-setting, visualization, positive self-talk, re-framing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with clients to aid in developing coping mechanisms and healthy habits, behaviors and routines. Kate strives to utilize her experience and education to promote health and wellness in her clients. In her free time, she enjoys outside activities with her family, being in nature, taking bike rides, snowboarding and reading.
