Jocelyn Ressler has a master’s degree in psychology with five years of professional experience providing outpatient therapy services to children and adults. Jocelyn has seen first-hand how mental health and substance related issues can influence and impact someone’s life negatively which ultimately led her to pursue a career in the mental health field. As a former mental health and substance abuse counselor, Jocelyn has experience with a variety of different therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Art Therapy. She has experience with a wide array of disorders some of which include Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and Substance Use, and over the last five years she has utilized techniques such as goal setting, positive self-talk, and mindfulness. She works with the clients to understand coping mechanisms most appropriate for them and has a mission to put mental health first. In her free time, some of her self-care activities are enjoying the outdoors, exercise, reading, painting, drawing, and spending time with her cat.
