Jamesha Westfield earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee along with a minor in Africana Studies. Throughout her career, she has worked with people from diverse populations and different walks of life. Her years of experience consists of providing counseling services to those with alcohol and drug addictions as well as those with mental health diagnoses. She has comprehensive knowledge in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and mindfulness. She is an advocate of self-care and has a passion for destigmatizing mental health issues. She is driven to help provide mental health services to all those in need, especially marginalized groups. In Jamesha’s spare time, she enjoys going to art museums, listening to music, singing, and tending to her houseplants.
