Ishmael Eaves holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Growing up, Ishmael had first-hand knowledge of the impact of unresolved mental health issues. Watching family members deal with depression, negative self-perceptions, and more is what sparked his interest in the education of mental health. Ishmael's specialties includes utilizing visualization techniques, re-framing, goal-setting, and positive self-talk. He also uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing with clients to aid in coping mechanisms. Ishmael strives to use his education to provide the tools necessary to help improve overall quality of life. In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports, being in nature (hiking, swimming, fishing), traveling, and photography.
