Heather Brooks holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Heather has twenty plus years’ experience working with children, youth, people with intellectual disabilities, people with mental and behavioral concerns, the geriatric community, and incarcerated offenders. This combined experience allows Heather to provide a wide array of mental and behavioral techniques and supports. Heather’s experience included Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Behavior Modification, Person-Centered Support, group and individual counseling, goal setting, positive self-talk, crisis management, intakes, and assessments.
Heather strives to utilize her passion, education, and experience to promote mental health, healing, and wellness. It is Heather’s mission to leave you with hope at the end of the session. Heather contributes to this field by adding a competent and empathetic therapist to the playing field. She has faith in humanity and will continue to see the best in people and draw on that strength to help guide them to success. In Heather’s spare time, she enjoys watching mindless reality television, advocating for animal rights, rehabilitating animals, and spending time with her family.
