ABOUT Gabriellia (Gabby) Boatwright

Gabriellia Boatwright is a former Division 1 athlete, current track & field coach, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a passionate mental health advocate. Being a former athlete, Gabriellia has witnessed teammates battling with anxiety, depression, and a multitude of other mental health stressors, being a member of the LGBTQ+ she has experience with nonacceptance, lack of support and just a loss sense of self. Gabriellia is qualified in helping individuals navigate through daily stressors in life by utilizing skills like mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Outside of the ton of experience that comes with Gabriellia, she is ready to assist all populations and any person who is needing help or assistance with bettering their mental health. Gabriellia’s drive and compassion along with her extensive educational background inspires her to empower individuals to become self-aware about the importance of maintaining mental and emotional health. In Gabriellia’s down time she enjoys practicing self-care by reading a good book, binge watching tv shows, listening to music and appreciating the great outdoors!
