Erica is a Master's Level Counselor with a passion for supporting others as they break through the barriers preventing them from living the best version of their lives. Erica received her Bachelor's in Psychology from Howard University in 2014 and later went on to obtain her Master's in Social Work from Simmons University in 2020. Erica began working with the homeless population and in housing services serving individuals from the age of 5 years old to 85 years young. Erica's background has given her experience working with person's dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, psychotic disorders, anger management, grief, medical illnesses and more.
Erica is dedicated to making a difference in the mental health and success of every person she connects with and does so by utilizing a combination of treatment modalities to support her clients but her favorites are cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Erica believes in meeting each person where they are and working in collaboration with the individual to tackle barriers caused by past and current traumas with one goal in mind; helping people create and enjoy the life they want to live.
In her personal time, she enjoys reading, playing with her Husky puppy and all things Coffee!
