Eric Dalton is a Master's level mental health and substance abuse therapist with over twelve years of experience in the field. Eric graduated from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN with a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology and Counselor Education in December 2009. He has experience providing a number of different types of therapy in a variety of settings, including outpatient therapy in the office, individual and group therapy in both the jail and psychiatric facility settings, in-home therapy with children and adolescents with behavioral and psychological trauma issues, individual and group therapy for at-risk delinquent youth in a group home setting, and intensive outpatient (IOP) alcohol and drug group therapy. Over the past 12 years, Eric has utilized several therapy modalities, primarily cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive therapy (RET), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), and motivational interviewing (MI) to help thousands of clients set and reach their mental health goals. In his spare time, Eric enjoys reading, especially the "classics", as well as watching stand-up comedy and spending time with his two sons.
