Cerebral Care Counselor
ABOUT Emily Hall

Emily Hall holds a Bachelors degree in Child and Family Studies are two accomplishments that Emily is proud of; however, they pale in comparison to the experiences that have shaped her passion for social work and counseling. Through working in immigration services, sex trafficking survivor care, inner city ministry, and in a retirement community, Emily has seen individuals from all stages of life process unimaginable trauma, reconcile with the past, work through set-backs and relapse, and boldly walk in to new phases of life. She values the unique beauty in all stories and truly desires to walk alongside individuals as they build the life that best serves their goals and dreams. Emily utilizes techniques primarily based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she assists individuals with identifying thoughts, habits, and behaviors that may be negatively affecting their lives and replacing them with those that are more positive and effective. Above all, Emily wants clients to fully grasp that they are alive on purpose and for a purpose, and from that mindset, to move forward with courage and unwavering hope. She recognizes the honor that it is to be a part of an individual's healing journey and is committed to being a listening ear, an advocate, a challenger, and a cheerleader through the best and worst days. In her free time, she appreciates a Saturday morning at the farmer's market buying another plant she doesn't need, taking a barre class, hosting virtual facials, reading, journaling, or discovering a new food truck in town.

I am worthy of the time it takes to do the things that heal my heart. - Morgan Harper Nichols
