ABOUT Elizabeth Scrimager

Elizabeth holds a Master's Degree in Justice Studies from Campbellsville University, with a concentration on Public Service Leadership and Social Justice. She studied Psychology and Criminal Justice during undergrad and has gained helpful experience through a variety of opportunities including working as a counselor within correctional settings and treatment facilities for substance use, trauma, emotional distress and behavior modification. As a counselor, Elizabeth enjoys challenging clients to discover their inner self and full potential by diversifying thinking patterns through the integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Elizabeth is passionate about being person-centered, fully focusing on the needs of those she interacts with to help them improve their mindsets, set and achieve goals for themselves, and derive a devotion to innermost happiness. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys reading a good book while sipping a hot cup of tea, hiking with her small canine companion, and embracing the ins and outs of this thing we call life.
