Dawn Goldsborough holds a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in Life Coaching from Liberty University. Dawn is a Licensed Master of Social Work and has a certification in Marriage Coaching and Child Advocacy.
Dawn has over 20 years of being instrumental in assisting others as they tackled a variety of challenges centered around mental disorders, trauma, and relationship/family issues. Moreover, Dawn has personally learned the importance of mental health care, as she had to overcome her own traumas, anxieties, and depression by applying the same skills that she now counsel and coach others to use.
Dawn’s experience includes providing individual supportive therapy and person-centered care using various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, gratitude exercises, goal setting, empowerment, and positive self-talk.
Dawn strives to utilize her education, professional experience, and life experiences to promote mental health, recovery, and wellness.
In her free time, Dawn enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, traveling, watching movies, creating vision boards, foraging, and a whole lot of laughing!
