ABOUT Darren Koch

Darren holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. A listener by nature and a teacher at heart, Darren instinctively gravitated toward a career in mental health. His unwavering passion for guiding others drives his desire to help folks through life’s obstacles.

Darren has a dynamic work history in mental health service including, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, mood disorders and substance use treatment. As a result, he is comfortable utilizing a multitude of treatment approaches including but not limited to CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Brief Dynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Evidence-Based Treatment. Darren believes in an attentive, collaborative, and empathetic mental health care model, which provides the ideal environment for positive change.

In his downtime, Darren enjoys spending time with his daughter, running, laughing, and settling in with a good Stephen King novel.
