Daisy Dyer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Kentucky University and is trained in Trauma Informed Care. Daisy’s first love in social work was serving crisis clients in an emergency services program. Daisy’s experience includes facilitating psychoeducational groups for both adults and adolescents to promote healing through understanding one’s diagnosis, expressive release, cognitive re-framing, mindfulness exercises, and healthy lifestyles. Daisy grew up in a military family and is a current Army wife, intimately aware of prevalent issues our military members face, striving to de-stigmatize mental health services as she believes healing and training one's mind is as important as healing and training one's body. Daisy's goal as a Care Counselor is to normalize mental health care as an essential component of overall wellness and work collaboratively with each client to find the skills and therapeutic modalities that best fit their unique lifestyle. Currently residing in Colorado, Daisy is a homeschooling mom to a blended family and enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and watching documentaries with her dogs.
