Cynthia (Cindy) Lassmann holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Lamar University and will begin her practicum work on June 1st towards her License in Professional Counseling. Her many years as a Public School Educator and Counselor has given her first hand knowledge of the importance of mental health in individuals as well as families as a whole. Cindy’s experience includes working with individuals on social, emotional, and behavioral well being. She uses different coping techniques to help manage stressful events and difficult emotions.
Cindy understands that as a Care Counselor her services will have an ever lasting effect on the population she serves, so all decisions are made in the best interest of the client, respectful of confidentiality, while promoting the dignity of all. As your care counselor, she will strive to provide a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental environment so that you are comfortable in expressing your thoughts and needs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, playing and running around with their four dogs.
