Crystal Sanders holds a Master’s of Science Psychology, with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology, from Grand Canyon University. Crystal suffered a traumatic brain injury when she was younger, causing her to face many mental health challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, trauma, and memory loss. This ignited a passion in her to bring awareness, understanding, and empathy to others dealing with their own mental health struggles. She has worked previously as a crisis counselor, a qualified mental health associate, a group counselor, and even a biblical counselor. Her experience has allowed her to work with all different demographics, ranging from children to adults suffering from anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, eating disorders, sexual abuse, substance abuse, relationships, and trauma. In her client sessions, she strives for a nonjudgmental, safe, open, and honest environment. Utilizing therapeutic techniques such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT Tapping). In her free time, Crystal enjoys spending time with her son, reading, traveling, painting, and watching movies.
