Candace Washington is a Maryland and District of Columbia Master Social Worker. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bowie State University and received a Master of Social Work from Howard University.
Candace is passionate about inspiring lives while extending hope and compassion to people while navigating complex life events. Candace has worked with clients through mental health concerns, including, but not limited to suicidality, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss. She has worked with clients in detoxification programs, transitional housing and provides individual therapy.
Candace has utilized various theoretical orientations and evidence-based practices to promote growth, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques.
