ABOUT Brooke Johnson

Brooke has a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. Being married to a U.S. Army soldier, Brooke has witnessed the stigma that goes along with feeling as though you cannot share what you are going through with your mental health issues. Brooke's interest in mental health stems from a passion help others adjust while leading healthy lives. Brooke has experience in the addictions field and has worked with clients who are also suffering from depression and anxiety. She uses Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) daily with clients to aid in coping mechanisms and to help clients reach their goals. Brooke uses her education and experience to promote mental health and wellness. In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and son, who is an avid baseball player, and their dog.
