Brianne McClaflin is currently in her Master's program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Brianne has worked in the mental health field for over five years. She has worked with individuals in a variety of mental health settings. Brianne's experience includes working with individuals with trauma, autism, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and depression. She encourages individuals to utilize a variety of mental skills, including thought reframing, goal-setting, positive self-talk, journaling, meditation. Brianne strongly believes that all clients should be treated with unconditional positive regard and empathy. In her free time Brianne enjoys reading, writing poetry, meditating, and being in nature, specifically hiking and exploring.
Counseling has to do with intuition, with work on oneself, with the quietness of one's mind and the openness of one's heart. -Ram Dass
