Brandy Adams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama. Her interest in mental health began through successful counseling sessions during childhood. From that experience, Brandy developed an appreciation for the helping profession and made the decision early on that she would pursue a career in the field so that she could help others the way someone helped her. As a former Care Guide to a multitude of hospitals, Brandy has first-hand experience in aiding with depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, end-of-life support, grief, and health related mental health issues. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and positive psychology Brandy engages with empathy, understanding, and compassion.
In her free time, Brandy enjoys DIY projects, visiting the mountains, and spending time with family and friends.
