Shari Henry holds two Master’s degrees in Counseling and Human Sciences from Prairie View A&M University. She has worked in the field of mental health for over 16 years with adults, adolescents, and families dealing with a wide array of diagnoses and issues in outpatient settings. Shari uses a person-centered and multimodality approach, which includes cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and rational emotive behavioral techniques. She also regularly uses motivational interviewing and psychoeducation to empower individuals and build resiliency. Shari's true passion in life is to be a voice for the voiceless, decrease barriers for recovery, and inspire hope in others. In her leisure time, Shari enjoys volunteering in youth activities at church, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends watching basketball and football.
