ABOUT Audrey Blake

Audrey Blake has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work through Park University, Missouri, and hopes to obtain her Master’s degree in Social Work in the near future. Audrey became interested in mental healthcare while serving in the US Air Force. Seeing first-hand the effects of depression, PTSD, hypervigilance, negative self-worth, drives her interest in the compassion and care of the mental health field. Audrey’s experience includes assisting Minot Air Force Base as their Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate by providing support through safety planning, crisis intervention, pre-trial/post-trial support, coordination for emergency shelter/housing for victims and their dependents, and resources and education. By utilizing active listening and compassion, she helped individuals create personalized goals and explore techniques to help reduce stress and anxiety. Audrey strives to normalize mental healthcare and wellness through compassion and education. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her dogs, Hazel and Thor, by hiking, fishing, and camping.
