April has a Master of Arts degree in counseling, and she has dedicated her career to the mental health and substance use disorder recovery specializations for over ten years. She holds a license as a Chemical Dependency Counselor. She has assisted people with crisis management, increasing coping skills, medication management, anxiety, depression, increasing awareness of triggers, psychological education, and she shares a passion to ensure easier access to services for those that may have struggled before. Years served in the helping profession has reinforced the importance of continuity of care in the mental health field. April feels most satisfied when she is able to help others in a supportive role. On her lazy days, one might find her watching scary movies.
