ABOUT Amanda Wolcott

Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Touro University Worldwide. She has an academic background in child development, family studies, and research. Amanda’s professional experience at an adolescent mental health facility taught her how to provide trauma-informed care to clients with various psychological and behavioral disorders. She was able to support client success using adaptive coping mechanisms such as mindfulness, up and down regulation techniques, sensory-based grounding, and strengths-based goal-setting. Amanda is passionate about mental health reform through a social justice lens and wants to ensure that all communities have access to high-quality mental health care. In her free time, she enjoys reading, taking in as much sunshine as possible, and being anywhere with live music.
