ABOUT Alexis Williams

Alexis is currently working towards her Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University. She earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Digital Sports Production with a Minor in Sociology from Ball State University. Alexis chose the mental health path after her own experience with mental illness. She has worked with adults, teens, and children in a variety of mental health settings including, eating disorder treatment centers, hospitals, private practice, athletic teams, and traumatic injury rehabilitation. During the therapy process, Alexis strives to create a judgment-free, nurturing space for clients through practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a person-centered approach by working on various issues such as anxiety, body image positivity, self-esteem, attachment, Autism Spectrum concerns, and depression. In her free time she enjoys, football, coffee shops, CrossFit, and spending time with her fiancé and rescue pup Jack.
