Yes, Cerebral is in-network with several insurance providers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Optum, and Humana in various States. Additionally, we can bill Aetna PPO/EPO plans out-of-network. To check if your plan is covered, please visit our insurance partners page and use the “Check my coverage” feature to see if your state and payer qualify.

There is a $30 a month charge that provides access to all platform benefits and care coordination support. Any charges for your plan’s cost sharing, such as deductibles, copays, or co-insurance, remain your financial responsibility - these are outlined in your insurance plan.

Medication - $95/month


Includes a 30-min evaluation and diagnosis (if determined by your prescriber), a follow-up session, and up to 2 check-ins per month to discuss your progress and renew your prescriptions when clinically necessary. Includes unlimited messaging  with your care team as needed. Cost of medication is billed separately and may be covered by insurance depending on your benefits. Our in-house pharmacy, CerebralRx, does not currently accept insurance.

Therapy - $295/month


Includes an initial evaluation and diagnosis intake session, personalized care plan, monthly progress assessments, and ongoing weekly 45-minute video or phone therapy sessions with your therapist — plus messaging anytime in between sessions.

The Cerebral Way is our intentional approach to improving your mental health.

Our program is built to give you specific goals and milestones to look forward to and help measure your progress over time. Our goal is that you’ll learn the skills to navigate life’s challenges on your own — and know you have the long-term support of your care team whenever you need it.

When you join Cerebral, you will:

• Build a personalized treatment plan with your therapist and/or prescriber to use as a guide for your sessions
• Complete an initial assessment before your first intake session, and then about once every 30 days to keep track of how your mental health changes throughout your treatment
• Meet with your therapist or prescriber periodically to review your treatment plan and make any necessary adjustments.

These steps give important structure to your mental health care journey and are designed to help you make more meaningful progression with your therapist or prescriber over time. Every person’s journey is different, and our approach is tailored to your specific needs and flexible enough to make adjustments to your treatment along the way.

This approach is intended to help you play an active role in your mental health care with support from your therapist or prescriber. Our goal is to help you make real, long-lasting progress in your mental health.

Therapy

If you are subscribed to a 2x a month therapy plan:

Your subscription includes 2 sessions per month

If you are subscribed to a 4x a month therapy plan:

Your subscription includes 4 sessions per month

You may schedule additional sessions with either plan, which will be billed at $135 per session.

Medication

You will meet with your prescriber to complete your intake (typically done in one session). After that, you and your prescriber will decide how often you should meet according to their clinical recommendation and your specific needs.

If your insurance provider is not currently in-network with Cerebral, you may have other payment options to cover some or all of the costs of your Cerebral services.

• You can use your HSA or FSA cards as your primary payment method.
• You can submit an itemized invoice (superbill) for HSA or FSA reimbursement.
• You can submit an itemized invoice (superbill) as an out-of-network claim to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
